Interlude
venqoo Lander
Short thruster bursts, limited fuel, one marked platform: set the UFO down cleanly. Easy to understand, hard to master. Runs right in your browser, no sign-up.
venqoo Lander
Stick the landing.
Guide the UFO onto one of the marked platforms with short thruster bursts. Land slow, level and centered. The landing beam shows you when it is safe.
About the game
What is venqoo Lander?
A small Lunar Lander clone with the venqoo UFO as the landing craft. Gravity pulls, three thrusters push back, and fuel is scarce. Touch down slow, level and centered on a marked platform to score; narrower platforms are worth more. From level 2, debris from old legacy projects drifts through the field.
Why does a software agency build a game?
Clean landings are our business, and a good browser game needs the same ingredients as good software: precise physics, immediate feedback, no gratuitous effects. The game is written in TypeScript, runs on Canvas 2D and uses no external libraries.
Does everything run locally?
Yes. The game runs entirely in your browser. There is no backend, no tracking and no sign-up. Only your best score is stored locally in your browser.
Controls
On desktop: arrow keys or WASD (up = thrust, left/right = side thrusters), P or Escape pauses, R restarts. On phones, three buttons below the playfield take over; thrusting and steering at the same time works.
Planning a precision landing of your own?
We design and build software that touches down safely, from first idea to steady operation. If your next project needs more than luck and fuel: let's talk.
